I had Almar remodel my basement. They run very professional and timely operations. Especially nice they use an app to track the progress and which allows me to see pictures of each step on a daily basis. I am very glad I found Almar; they did an excellent job!!

Basements can feature many different options depending on how you intend to use the space: carpet, vinyl plan and tile are popular choices. Sound absorption, durability, maintenance, comfort and aesthetics are all important things to consider. There are also additional options to think about adding like dricore insulated subfloor or heated floor systems.
If you’re looking to deaden the sound in a particular room (make the noise less intense), standard fiberglass insulation in the partition walls can help. Some special insulations like "ROXUL Safe and Sound" can also be installed to help reduce noise.

Have a question we didn’t answer here?
I've had two jobs completed by Almar, and both were done at a very high quality. The first was a makeover of the bathroom upstairs which had previously been a DIY tile project by the previous owner, which did not go well. The second job was the repair and restoration of a significant leak that we had in our porch into our basement. I would hire them again; they are wonderful to do business with.
