Basement Bar Hanover M (800x533) Almost everyone wishes they could have just a little more living space in their homes, and often ask themselves asks themselves at some point “Should I remodel my basement?”  You could add an addition or another level to your home, but those can be very costly options.   Sometimes the best and most cost effect choice is to go underground!

Most people don’t utilize the space in their basements for anything other than storage and the occasional indoor floor hockey game, but that same space could easily and affordable give you living space that might make you house just feel that much more bigger without breaking the bank

These are many systems like Dri-Core that help keep the moisture from getting into the floor.  You can also look at systems like the Saniflo pump system that can allow you to install a bathroom in your basement without having to dig up your concrete basement floor.

If you are asking yourself “Should I remodel my basement?” then consider these three things:

  1. How would I utilize extra living space?
  2. Do I need or want another bathroom?
  3. What features do I want to include to make the space the most comfortable for our needs?
