Kitchen Transformation – A Breath of Fresh Air

Step inside this stunning kitchen remodel in Hanson, where a dated 1989 layout has been completely reimagined into a bright, open, and highly functional space perfect for modern homeowners. The homeowners were ready to say goodbye to the past and embrace a design that fostered better flow and enhanced their daily living.

Impactful Change

The most impactful change involved opening the doorway between the kitchen and the adjacent dining room. This simple yet brilliant alteration immediately created a more connected and airier feel, allowing for seamless interaction between the two spaces. To further enhance functionality and aesthetics, a stylish bank of Schrock cabinets was installed along the dining room wall, providing valuable additional storage and a cohesive design element.

Gone are the days of the bulky soffit!

By removing it, the new Schrock cabinets now soar all the way to the ceiling, maximizing storage capacity and creating a grander, more spacious ambiance. Thoughtfully placed recessed lighting illuminates the entire kitchen, while under-cabinet lights provide task lighting and a warm glow along the beautiful Hub Stoneworks countertops.

Replace the Tile

The original tile flooring was removed throughout the kitchen, replaced with elegant hardwood that now flows seamlessly into the dining room, contributing to the open and unified feel. This flooring transition also addressed the dated tile in the adjacent hallway, which was updated with fresh, new tile from Bellew Tile, creating a consistent and stylish entryway.

No detail was overlooked in this comprehensive remodel. The kitchen now boasts sleek and modern GE Cafe appliances, sourced from Yale Appliance in Hanover, offering both high performance and sophisticated design.

Half Bath

The transformation extended beyond the kitchen itself. The adjacent half bathroom also received a stylish makeover, featuring new fixtures also supplied by Snow and Jones, ensuring a consistent aesthetic throughout this section of the home.

Expertly crafted by Almar

This remarkable kitchen and bathroom remodel was a collaborative effort. The thoughtful floor plan was expertly crafted by Almar Building, while the beautiful and functional kitchen design was brought to life by the team at Cape Cod Lumber. The exquisite Hub stone countertops were skillfully fabricated and installed by the team in Hanover.

This kitchen is now a true testament to the power of thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. It’s a bright, open, and inviting space that perfectly suits the homeowners’ lifestyle for years to come.
